When relocating to the Colorado Springs area, my company recommended the Shields Corporation as a source of information to locate a place to stay.

We were unsure what we were going to do.  Buy, rent, house, apartment?  We discussed the choices with Alan, and he patiently explained the current Real Estate market.  Alan has lived in the area most of his life, he knows this area!

When my wife and I flew into the Springs on a house hunting trip, Alan was ready with a variety of homes lines up to show us.  In a very short time, we had an idea of which part of town we desired to live in, the school system we wanted our children to attend, and how much house we could afford.  Because of the influx of some major corporations into Colorado Springs, it was definately a sellers market, and few homes were available.

Back on the East Coast, Alan kept us informed of new and existing properties.  When I arrived in town to start my job,  I had a pretty good feel for the market.  In three days we had a contract.  In three weeks we were in the house, children ready for school, and our family together again.

We are very thankful for Alan.  His professional hard work and integrity have been a blessing to our family.  We consider him a friend and periodically call him for information and advice.
