Since beginning his real estate career in 1982, Alan has been able to accomplish many things. He has been the top producing ERA Shields agent each year for the past 18 years. In the same number of years, he has always been rated among the top 1% of Real Estate Agents nationwide based on annual sales volume. Alan has been a broker in the Colorado Springs area for the past 29 years and a member of the Elite 25, a high-end sales organization. Alan is also an active member of the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Home Builders Association, among others. Trained in real estate, as well as finance, taxes and investments, he enjoys representing the first time buyer/seller as well as the seasoned homeowner. Knowledgeable regarding all areas of the city, his expertise includes the sale of existing properties, investment real estate, land development, and custom new builds. For Alan Wilaby, real estate sales do not revolve around the agent, but rather the wants and needs of his clients. As his mantra "It's All About You" implies, his focus is on assisting his buyers/sellers in any capacity he can. The word "no" is not in Alan's vocabulary, and whatever the need is, he can always find a way to help. "Problem solving is what I get paid for," says Alan, "Real estate is not about selling," he adds. "My clients know what they need. I don't have to sell them on what they want; my job is to remove any obstacles that might interfere with their achieving that goal." "The Colorado Springs area and community has been especially good to me and my family. We get to ski in the winter, camp in the summer, ride horses and hike all year long. The schools are great, the skies are clear, and the streets are pretty safe. You see, my family is the single most important aspect of my life. It's a source of great pride to me that I am able to share with them the Colorado lifestyle." Alan's dream is "to help all of those moving to Colorado Springs feel it is also their home!"
